WELCOME to the Home of the
International Horseradish Festival from the
"Horseradish Capital of the World" Collinsville, Illinois
For over two decades, the Horseradish Festival has celebrated the multi-faceted and vastly under utilized spicy member
of the mustard family and brought people from around the midwest and the country to Collinsville for fun, entertainment, and
mostly great food and drink. Proceeds from the festival have helped local organizations, for many years and in many ways,
including, helping to build playgrounds, helping handicapped children and helping to buy sports equipment.
The
Horseradish Festival features free entertainment (great bands this year), food booths, root toss, root golf, root sacking
contest, craft fair, Bloody Mary contest, horseradish cooking contest, an expanded childen's area and, of course,
the Annual Horseadish Root Derby!
